SMEs are vital to our economy - government figures have reported that there were 5.4 million SMEs in the UK in 2016, representing 99% of all businesses.

However, Work Foundation report from 2015* found that the day-to-day pressures of running an SME may leave SME owners, particularly those without any other managerial support, with little capacity to consider employee health in a strategic or even a reactive way.

So how can we equip and empower SMEs with the tools to help them improve health and wellbeing in the workplace?

This webinar, hosted by COVER magazine and Bupa, will feature an expert panel who will be discussing the following areas:

1) What internal and external sources of uncertainty/risks are SMEs facing?
2) What are the greatest health and wellbeing risks to SMEs?
3) What are SMEs currently doing to look after employee wellbeing?
4) How much of a priority is employee mental health to SMES?
5) How do SMEs want insurers and intermediaries to support their employees?

The webinar is live and interactive so you will have the opportunity to ask questions and take part in live opinion polls to share your views on these issues.

*The Work Foundation report, ‘This Won’t Hurt a Bit: Supporting small business to be healthy, wealthy and wise’ (2015) was co-authored by Libby McEnhill and Karen Steadman
